President

Cheryl is a lifetime member of the National Black MBA Association. She has served as DFW Chapter President since January 2014. She joined the Dallas Fort Worth Chapter in 1997 and previously served the organization in the role of Community Relations Chair, Membership Committee Member, Membership Committee Chair and Vice President of Operations.

Cheryl earned a BBA in Marketing from the University of Louisiana at Monroe and a MBA with a concentration in Finance from the University of North Texas in Denton. She is an accomplished marketing professional with a passion for managing client and agency relationships and improving brand communications. Cheryl currently works as an Advertising and Marketing Services Sourcing Consultant in Plano, TX.

Brandy Tyson

VP of Administration

Brandy has been a member of the National Black MBA Association, DFW Chapter, since 2010. Prior to serving in her current role as Vice President of Administration, she was the Student Relations/Scholarships Committee Chair.

Brandy has 10 years of experience in manufacturing accounting and internal audit. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Southern University (Baton Rouge, La) and a MBA with a Concentration in Strategic Management from the University of North Texas. Brandy is a Certified Internal Auditor and works for a construction materials company.

Danica Williams

Danica Williams

VP of Finance

Danica has been a member of the National Black MBA Association since 2005. She currently serves as the VP of Finance, and has also served on the board as the Recording Secretary.

Danica has more than 25 years experience in Accounting, Management, and Finance. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Washington in Seattle, and her MBA with a concentration in Finance from LeTourneau University in Texas. Danica is a Certified Public Accountant and works as a Department Head for a non-profit financial services company. Danica also works as an adjunct professor teaching college courses in accounting, business and ethics.

VP of Operations

Cameron has been a member of the National Black MBA Association, Dallas/Fort Worth Chapter, since 2014. Prior to serving in his current role as Vice President of Operations, he held both Marketing Committee Chair and Vice President of Marketing positions.
Cameron has 10 years of experience in various organizational transformation roles. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in General Studies from Indiana University, Purdue University at Indianapolis (IUPUI) and a MBA from the University of Dallas. Cameron is a Senior Consultant for one of the Big 4 consulting firms.

VP of Marketing

Cherice J. Williams is a strategic, consumer-marketing professional with award-winning ability to increase consumer engagement and build brands across various industries. Raised in Detroit, Cherice earned a B.S in Political Science from University of Michigan, and MBA in Marketing and General Management from University of Miami. Cherice currently works as a Marketing Manager in Plano, TX, joining the NBMBAA DFW Chapter as Marketing Chair in 2015 and elected a VP of Marketing in 2016.

Susan McGowan

Immediate Past President

Susan Bell has been a member of the National Black MBA Association since 2004. Prior to her role as President, Susan served as Vice President of Operations. She has also served as the Membership Chair and as a chaperone for Leaders of Tomorrow (LOT) students at the 2006 and 2007 national conferences.

Susan possesses more than 14 years experience in accounting, finance and compliance. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the University of North Texas and her MBA from LeTourneau University. Susan is a Certified Public Accountant and works as an Audit Manager in the telecommunications equipment and services industry.
